Building Opportunities in Construction (A collaboration event for Construction Week)

The Department Social Protection, Sligo LEADER Partnership and MSLETB would like to invite you to an event which will offer opportunities for training and employment in the construction sector. It will be at the MSLETB NZEB Training Centre in Collooney (F91 E161) on Thursday 4th May from 10.30am – 12.30pm.

This event will give you the opportunity to explore possibilities by talking to employers and experts in this sector. There will be a variety of opportunities on offer, such as:

  •  Thermal Insulation Installation – a growth sector with lots of career opportunities. Both QQI qualification and employment opportunities.
  •  AutoCAD – Demos on the day, register for AutoCAD training and guaranteed work experience. No previous experience required!
  •  Jobsfair – we will have a number of construction companies in attendance who have current work opportunities
  •  Safepass
  •  CV & Jobseeking supports

Bus transport will be available at no cost, departing from:

Ballyshannon (Slevins) 9.20am Ballisodare (Bus stop on Main St) 10.10am
Bundoran (Allingham Arms) 9.30am Tubbercurry (the Square) 9.50am
Grange (Circle K) 9.40am Ballymote (Catholic Church Car park) 10.10am
Sligo Town (Mercy College, Pearse Rd) 10am

This event will also be a great opportunity for you to explore a possible career in the construction sector.
