The Model is a performance and event venue and is home to the Niland Collection, a collection of works by significant Irish artists.
The Model offers some of Sligo town’s most wide-ranging experiences on the TÚS programme for participants. These include, but are not limited to: Front of House and reception, Administration, Book-keeping, Web support, Marketing, Back of House (exhibition set-up and back of house for events including lighting and sound), Curation, Gallery Café.
The Model offers participants coming with very different skill sets an opportunity to apply them in a meaningful role in a busy and creative environment.
