Gurteen Playground and recreation area is located beside the local National School and playing pitches in the heart of Gurteen village.
The playground was developed by Gurteen Games Company who were awarded €89,638 of LEADER aid towards the project.
The playground is maintained by participants on the Rural Social Scheme
