Tubbercurry Family Resource Centre is rooted in the Tubbercurry community and delivers a range of programmes and services to combat disadvantage and improve the functioning of the family unit.
Services offered include: Advice and support to families, Training Programmes, Counselling support and Childcare.
Tubbercurry FRC identified the need to develop outside space and a Multi-Usage Games area as part of their services which will be used by staff and service users for a range of programmes. This development is supported by LEADER with a grant of €34,068
The FRC is also supported by members of the Rural Social Scheme who provide support to the childcare facility and some administrative support. This use of local resources to support local needs is a concept share by both Sligo LEADER Partnership CLG and Tubbercurry FRC.
