Tubbercurry Old Fair Day Festival has been running for over 30 years and is a five day heritage and craft festival, with the highlight being the Old Fair Day, which take place the second Wednesday in August.
The Festival gives visitors the opportunity to relive Old Fair Days of old where visitors can experience the sights, sounds and smells of Fair Days gone by with live animals, live demonstrations of thatching, weaving, Butter-making, trashing, pottery making, rush work and much more. The Festival also incorporates modern entertainment with street entertainers and live music. The Festival attracts over 25,000 visitors annually.
