Kelly Fresh Foods delivers a wide range of Fruit and Vegetables, Fresh & Whole, Prepared and Vacuum Packed, and Kelly prepares 100% of supplied vegetables themselves from fresh at the Skreen production facility.
This LEADER-funded project was to move Kelly Fresh Foods Vegetable Processing line from a labour-intensive system to a more autonomous system that has higher volume capacity, while reducing the physical load on the workers. The installation of automated vegetable preparation equipment will speed up the process and enable the business to bid for larger contracts.
This has the potential to create 7 new jobs.
