Sligo LEADER Partnership are able to offer a number of social inclusion supports to young people and families. We support individuals, families and communities who are experiencing social and economic disadvantages.
The support and guidance we can offer varies hugely. We can connect with schools to provide workshops (e.g. STEM workshops), we can help communities to organise things like seasonal camps or family fun days and we can help individuals and families by arranging personal development workshops.
Examples of projects we have been a part of include:
- Cranmore Easter Revision Project: Maths and English Leaving Certificate revision course.
- Caltragh Community Centre: providing family based activity programme that aimed to build confidence and self-esteem through fun activities.
- Parent and Children Art workshops in conjunction with MSLETB.
Projects undertaken by Sligo Leader Partnership as part of our Social Inclusion supports under the SICAP programme.
