SICAP Small Grants 2021 are now available for applications for funding, to support projects that target the most marginalized groups or issues in disadvantaged areas in our county.
The ‘Community Grant’’ strand of support provides an opportunity for Local Community Groups (LCGs) to apply for small grants (maximum of €1,500). Eligible groups can plan to use the grant either for their own development as a community organisation and/or to promote equality and participation of one of the following target groups:
People living in Disadvantaged communities | Travellers |
Disadvantaged Children and Families | Roma |
Individuals and Families coming out of Homelessness | People with Disabilities |
Disadvantaged Women | New Communities |
Disadvantaged Young Persons (aged 15-24) | The Unemployed |
Low Income Workers/Households | Lone Parents |
The Disengaged from the Labour Market |

Under SICAP programme guidelines we are restricted to certain criteria to ensure that the most disadvantaged in our communities are assisted. We can help in determining your groups eligibility where funds allow.
