Commenting on the opening of the new centre Fintan Kennedy Chairman of Sligo LEADER Partnership said
“We in Sligo LEADER are delighted to see the opening of the Day Centre in Cliffoney, serving the communities of North Sligo. Building on the success of the day centres in Ballymote Tubbercurry and Gurteen and as the great work in the background from Sligo LEADER Staff, Sligo County Council, The HSE and TFI has enabled the opening of this vital service for another Sligo Community. The opportunity to have a warm welcoming space for people to meet, eat and share stories together cannot be underestimated. Thanks to all who have worked so hard to help us open this fine facility and I wish the communities of North Sligo health to enjoy it”
