Ballisodare astro pitch and Sports complex are located in Young’s Quarry in Ballisodare. Ballisodare Astro Pitch was awarded €200,000 of LEADER aid and Ballisodare Sports Complex was awarded €138,058 of LEADER Aid.
Sligo LEADER Partnership were successful in making an application in conjunction with Connacht GAA to develop the world’s largest sports air dome in Bekan, Co. Mayo.
The Festival has been supported by the LEADER Programme for marketing & infrastructure.
The club has been supported by 2 different awards of LEADER Grant aid; one of €200,000 towards the completion of the Club house and community space and another grant of €24,828 towards developing remote working and conferencing facilities in the building. The Club is also supported by the Rural Social Scheme.
The development of a playground was supported by a LEADER Grant of €82,430. St Mary’s Community Centre in Curry is also supported by the Rural Social Scheme.
Coolaney Development Company was awarded €150,517 of LEADER aid towards their project to establish the first Community Café in Connacht and €195,112 to develop the community park. Coolaney village also benefits from both Rural Social Scheme and TÚS support to village maintenance, ensuring their award-winning status!
This project was awarded LEADER funding of €39,327 towards the development of a loop trail for walkers, joggers, runners and junior cyclists.
Ballymote First Responders sought LEADER grant aid for the continuation and expansion of their first responder scheme affiliated to the National Ambulance Service and the addition of four new public access defibrillators
Sligo LEADER Partnership CLG is delighted to be able to support the club off the pitch through the TÚS programme. Sligo Rovers was also awarded €29,778 of LEADER aid towards the development of a strategic masterplan.
